Information about the code of practice adopted by The Sales Recruitment Network and its associates.

General

a) TSRN Associates must carry out their business in accordance with all applicable laws, conducting assignments to the highest ethical and professional standards.

b) A TSRN Associate shall make known to clients and candidates that THE SALES RECRUITMENT NETWORK UK has a Code of Practice that all its Associates adhere to and a copy of such code is available upon any reasonable request

a) Before accepting an assignment from a client, a TSRN Associate must advise the client of any potential conflicts of interest and any material restriction to which it is subject by reason of undertakings given to other clients.

b) When accepting an assignment, a TSRN Associate must agree any “off-limits” rules which include undertakings by the Associate that no first approach be made to:

i) any candidates placed by it with that client while those candidates remain employed by the said client; or

ii) any employee of a client within a minimum of one year of completing an assignment.

iii) Where a client is part of a group of companies the TSRN Associate may consider agreeing to confines of the terms ‘clients’ and ‘off-limits rules’.
The TSRN Associate cannot however bind other associates within the network to such an agreement without consultation through THE SALES RECRUITMENT NETWORK Head Office and a ‘national agreement’ being in place.

c) After taking instruction from a client, the TSRN Associate will (within a reasonable time-scale) provide the client with written confirmation of the assignment, along with THE SALES RECRUITMENT NETWORK UK standard “Terms of Business”.

a) The candidate shall be advised from the outset that the TSRN Associate is part of a nationwide network and will seek to promote him/her throughout the network unless instructed not to do so at any time.

b) A candidate’s details will not be sent to a client without first obtaining permission from him or her. Nor will a candidate’s C.V. or details be mailed, faxed or given unsolicited to an existing or prospective client.

c) A TSRN Associate shall be respectful, courteous and honest in all his dealing with a candidate, advising him or her of all relevant facts appertaining to any application or vacancy. In addition, candidates shall (wherever possible) be advised at the earliest opportunity if they are not suitable for a vacancy or have not been successful following an interview for same.

a) While carrying out any assignment, the client will not be given comprehensive details of the candidate, nor will his/her identity be revealed without prior permission.

b) A TSRN Associate must abide by the client’s instructions regarding confidentiality of the assignment and the limits of information which can be provided. Within these limitations, candidates will be provided with full and relevant information at all times.

c) Unless otherwise agreed with the client, no candidate will be submitted until their suitability for a vacant position has been thoroughly assessed.

d) Throughout any assignment the TSRN Associate will maintain regular contact with both client and candidate alike, appraising both parties with the situation to date.

e) No information about the client or candidate will knowingly be withheld if it might influence the other’s decision regarding any appointment.

ny advertisement should conform to the “Code of Advertising Practice” laid down by The Advertising Standards Authority. In addition, a TSRN associate shall:

a) Make all advertisements clear and unambiguous; stating accurately the basic salary, OTE (on-target earnings) and location when and where appropriate.

b) Not advertise a vacancy that does not exist; nor advertise a known vacancy unless a job order, brief or assignment has been duly received from a client.
