Hours: Full time or Part time(pro rata salary). Full time, 8.30 am to 5 pm or part time flexibility eg 9.15am to 3.15pm.

 

Location : Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands

 

Product : Ozone Laundry Technology and Laundry Systems.

 

Job description: 

Office Administrator / Bookkeeper, required for a company who are the premier specialists in Ozone Technology and Laundry systems in the UK.

 

Company:

Our client is the premier company in ozone laundry systems in the UK. Utilizing patented technology, developed by NASA, they have the ultimate ozone system available in the UK. Working with customers to make their laundry operation more efficient by reducing their energy, water and chemical usage and thus providing a more efficient and profitable business model. They are now entering a period of extensive expansion, installing their Ozone Laundry solutions equipment all over the UK.

The Role:

This is a joint role of both Office Administrator and Bookkeeper and will be split roughly 50/50. You will be working closely with the Business Owners to ensure the smooth running and management of the office and the company financial systems. On the Financial side, accuracy, great organisation and the ability to follow a system is key. You may currently be:

 A good administrator, who is numerate, with some experience of financial data input and following financial processes.

OR

A competent bookkeeper, who is well organised and happy to accept that a big part of this role will be administration based.

Tasks will include:

  • Processing records and invoices.
  • Invoicing reconciliations and month end reconciliation checks.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, receipts & credit card expenses.
  • Credit control and ongoing client contact to ensure payments are made.
  • Dealing with client and supplier queries by email and telephone.
  • Telephone manning, answering, message taking etc
  • General office management administrative duties:
  • Post
  • Database Management.
  • Typing.
  • Filing.
  • Monitoring and managing supplies.
  • Document management and distribution
  • Mailshots, follow ups, chasing responses.
  • General required office duties.
  • A range of other tasks and responsibilities to assist MD.
  • General Administrative tasks as required.

 

Skills / Experience

  • General Bookkeeping knowledge to a high level.
  • Good hands on knowledge of Accounting System.
  • A bookkeeping or accountancy qualification would be desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is essential.
  • Positive can do attitude with a team ethos and a pleasant approach to the day to day work and office environment.
  • Proficient ,experienced and comfortable with IT and software packages and systems, including Excel, Word, Databases

Able to work under your own initiative.

Friendly and confident with excellent communication and inter-personal skills..

Numerate, Literate and articulate.
